When it comes to notes from parents, they’re often just a few words scribbled on a page, “Gone out” or “Get milk“.
Another common note left for children is to do some sort of chore. So whether it’s the dishwasher that needs emptying or the hoovering, you can be sure if you’re at home and your mother has to rush out then you’ll have a few requests from her.
Jason Coakley, a student in Scotland, has gone viral for taking his mum’s request literally. Her response to the whole situation is even funnier.
Jason first shared the note his mum left him which read, “Can you hang this out please, TA Mum x.”
Now, most of us would know that this means that she wants the white shirt hung out on the line. But Jason took it so literally that he hung out the note instead and cheekily sent her a picture of his efforts.
Her response is even funnier than his picture.
Jason went viral because of the photos and has amassed over 30,000 likes for this tweet.
