She is not happy.
Kim Kardashian West is reportedly angry over some of the lyrics on Jay Z’s new album 4:44. The lyrics in question are supposedly aimed at her husband Kanye West.
They refer to a school drop out, which as we all know was one of the names of Kanye’s own album, College Drop Out. It also makes reference to ‘Saint’ and ‘Ye’, with Saint Pablo being one of Kanye’s albums and Ye being his nickname.
Here are the lyrics:
You dropped outta school, you lost your principles
I know people backstab you, I felt bad too
But this ‘fuck everybody’ attitude ain’t natural
But you ain’t a Saint, this ain’t KumbaYe
But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye
You gave him 20 million without blinkin’
He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’?
“Fuck wrong with everybody?” is what you sayin’
But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane
A source told Hollywood Life:
“She [Kim] gets very protective of her husband, like a mama bear. She thinks it was a low blow to diss Kanye and throw around words like ‘insane’ after all he’s been through. Kanye had a real difficult time last year and is still coming out of it, so to hit him like that wasn‘t cool.”
