Victoria Beckham has confused fans after she posted a cryptic Spice Girls reference in an Instagram post.
She captioned the post, “2 become 1 X Kisses VB #girlpower” and featured an image of herself sitting on the couch with her index and middle fingers held up to the camera.
Her Instagram fans think that the image is a dig at the Spice Girls because of the 2 Become 1 reference and the hand gesture.
One person said, “Clearly a dig at her opposing that the spice girls perform their old hits at an alleged [sic] reunion which VB will not be attending. Childish.”
Other people are suggesting that she was just signaling her name rather than trying to cause offense. One fan commented, “she’s doing the “v” for her name,” and another said, “don’t think it’s shady but I do think there is a hidden message in there somewhere.”
