Talk about taking drastic measures.
Ed Sheeran appeared in the first episode of Game of Thrones last night. In a scene with Lannister soldiers, he can first be heard singing around a camp fire, before Arya joins his group for some food while en route to King’s Landing.
He only had a few lines but he was very prominent in the scene, almost too prominent. His presence confused and irritated a lot of people, with some questioning how he even got the role.

Ed was quick to promote the show when it was on last night sharing screenshots on Instagram and Twitter.
But it appears he’s taken some of the comments on Twitter to heart after deleting his account. The link to his account is broken and all trace of him is gone from the social media site.
He’s still on Instagram and only just posted a picture of his holiday in Peru with girlfriend Cherry.
