They’ve had their say.
During the week it was reported that the new series of The Great British Bake Off hadn’t got off to a great start. The show, which moved from the BBC to Channel 4, was said to be struggling with the new line-up of Paul Hollywood, Noel Fielding, Sandi Toksvig and Prue Leith.
It was reported that Sandi spends most of her time in her trailer knitting, Noel is stressed that if he eats too much of the food he will put on weight and that Prue can’t stand Paul Hollywood.
But before any of these suggestions continue, Channel 4 has issued a statement about the new line-up to put any negative thoughts to bed.
According to Digital Spy, they said:
“The Great British Bake Off team get on brilliantly and together have all the ingredients for a show-stopping series.”
We’ll just have to wait to see how they are on screen together when the show returns later this year.
