He's not holding back either.

He’s not holding back either.

Keith Duffy has responded to comments made about him and his new show Boyzlife from ex-Westlife stars Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan.

Keith joined forces with their ex-bandmate Brian McFadden and formed the new hybrid duo act. But back when they first launched Kian and Nicky weren’t shy about their feelings with Kian calling it “odd” and “aggravating”.

Speaking to The Sun, Keith has hit back saying:

“I don’t care what Kian and Nicky think about Boyzlife. Both of them take themselves way too seriously and have big egos.

Shane Filan and Mark Feehily were the great singers in Westlife and Kian and Nick weren’t, but they go on as though they were brilliant. Westlife take themselves way too seriously.

Both Boyzone and Westlife played to screaming girls, we were pop bands. While myself and Brian acknowledge that, Kian and Nicky think they are Bob Dylan and U2, singing songs about humanity and saving the world.

They need to chill out and start enjoying themselves.”

He also confirmed that Boyzone has just signed a new deal with Warner music so a reunion is on the cards.
