This Irish Mam had the funniest misunderstanding about photocopying a Passport

Gotta love the Mammies.

Gotta love the Mammies.

If there’s one thing that Mammies can produce, it’s pure unintentional hilarity. They have a certain way of doing things or approaching situations that ends up being way funnier than they ever intended.

Irish Mammies are especially well known for their one-liners and notions which end up giving the rest of us a good laugh.

This latest Irish Mammy got a little bit confused when her daughter asked her to photocopy her Passport. Now, as we all surely know, if someone was to ask for a photocopy of a Passport or Driving License the reason for asking is to get the photo part of the document for proof of identity. The front and backs of them are no good as they’re all the same.

This didn’t seem to occur to Niamh Donnellan’s Mam who took it very literally and sent back this:

People are enjoying the misunderstanding on Twitter with one person saying, “ah gawd, some mothers are all the same…” and another adding simply, “Everyone’s mam.”
