Let it not be said that Beyoncé doesn’t like sharing the attention.
During one of her recent concerts, Beyoncé stopped the show to help one of her backup dancers propose to another dancer. In the middle of the show, while singing Single Ladies, Beyoncé stopped the song and her dancer John Silver came onto the stage.
He walked down to his girlfriend Ashley Everett who was just after performing with Bey. Before getting down on one knee he said, “She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown.”
Thankfully she said yes and next thing they break back into the song where she gladly dances along with her new engagement ring on her finger. Beyoncé even joked to her, “Now let’s see you do the choreography after that.”
Ashley shared some snapshots of the moment on Instagram later that evening saying:
“Still wrapping my head around the incredible, magical moment that happened last night! It was an absolute dream come true! Thank you to everyone who helped make it so epic and iconic, and to everyone who supports us and congratulated us!
Shocked is an understatement. I’m so overly excited for this new chapter in our lives and of course I can’t wait to be your WIFE!!!”
Someone in the crowd was also on hand to capture the whole thing.
