For all those 24 fans out there, it has been announced that the film version of the hit television show will begin production next summer.
So far the project has been halted due to scheduling issues but star of the show Kiefer Sutherland has confirmed that it will go ahead next year.
The actor played the role of US government agent Jack Bauer for nine years on the small screen and is eager to get started on the big screen version sooner rather than later.
Kiefer played Jack Bauer for years and is now keen to start the film.
‘I think we can make a great film… We’ll see what happens,’ said the 45 year old actor who is currently starring in another television show called Touch.
If these television-programme-turned-films are anything to go by, fans of the show could be in for a real treat.
