VIDEO: Dance Party Breaks Out on a Morning Train

This would never happen on the LUAS.

Rebecca McKnight

It’s hard to see this ever taking off on the LUAS or the DART…

Your Monday morning commute could have looked very different if you lived near Peter Sharp, a so called “social artist”.

Sharp, who resides in Perth, has taken it upon himself to spread a little more cheer in the world, starting with his own performances.

In his latest effort, Sharp inspired others to get involved in a dance party aboard a morning train in Fremantle.

After telling passengers: “I don’t want money, I just want to spread a bit of happiness”, Sharp plays some James Brown and bops down the carriage. After a while, several passengers join in.

The message of the video is, according to Sharp: “If we can start a party, what is stopping you from having a conversation?”

If anyone attempts this on an Irish train this evening, please send video evidence to hello@her.ie.
