It looks like someone in the Kardashian family may be earning a bit of respect on the fashion front, and no, it’s not Kris’s beloved Kim… it’s young Kylie.
Singer Avril Lavigne has said she thinks Kylie Jenner is the “edgy” sister in the Kardashian clan.
The Canadian popstar is set to show her fashion line Abbey Dawn at New York Fashion Week next month, and the 15-year-old Kardashian will take to the catwalk in her designs again.
Avril said she is a major fan of the young reality TV star and she thinks she is far more stylish than her famous sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, despite the numerous fashion lines between them.

“It’s a massive deal for me. To see the full collection at Fashion Week is really cool,” Avril told WWD. “And Kylie is the edgy one [in the Kardashian family]. I really like her.”
Avril is currently promoting Abbey Dawn’s third season of footwear. The 27-year-old singer says the brand’s rock and roll edge is right on trend at the moment.
“Studs are accepted more than ever, and we’ve already been playing with skulls and studs for years,” she explained. “Brands like Christian Louboutin are using studs.
“It’s cool because there are now ballet flats, boots and heels. The footwear is exactly where I would want it to be. And I’m excited that we have so many more dresses now and swimsuits.”

The star is proud that the line now has broader appeal.
“Initially, the brand started out as a juniors’ line at Kohl’s, but now it’s at a bit of a higher price point. It’s a lot cooler and better quality,” she said.
“It’s geared toward an older age group now, but juniors can still wear it. There are fun, bright colours, and we are making a bold statement. That’s what Abbey Dawn is about – any girl who wants to express herself and be edgy.”
The 15-year-old model uses her Tumblr account to post photo montages of her and her sister.
