From having the hottest boyfriend ever to those Calvin Klein adverts, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t more than a little jealous of Eva Medes. Oh, and did we mention she’s stunningly beautiful too?
Hot on the heels of New York Fashion Week, the brunette beauty has announced that she is teaming up with New York & Company Inc to release her debut fashion line which will be called Eva by Eva Mendes.
The line, which will focus heavily on dresses and accessories – she does love a good statement necklace or earring, will reflect Eva’s own style and personal tastes and having worn the likes of Dior, Lanvin, Calvin Klein and Roland Mouret on the red carpet, the star has plenty of inspirational looks to pull from.

Speaking to WWD about her first foray into fashion Eva said “The other day, I went to the office with half my closet. Part of the fun is coming up with the designs and looking through my closet. There are a lot of prints and lots of colour. Black can be very chic and very New York.”
“[It’s] taking up all my time, but in the best way possible. Everything I see is a possible design. My mind is consumed by it. I’m fortunate enough to travel to so many exotic places. I could find inspiration in a gate in Istanbul for a plate or a blouse.”
And it’s not just the design process that she’s involved in. The actress will also model the clothes and act as the face of the brand when it’s released.
We wonder if Ryan will make a cameo in any of the campaign shots…
