Whitney Port Says Certain Fashion Faux Pas Works

She has gone from being a star of a television show to being a respected fashion designer but do you agree with her that some fashion faux pas are acceptable?

Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model judge Whitney Port has taken to her blog to dispel a number of common fashion myths.

Among others the clothes designer and self-professed fashion addict said that she thinks a short skirt without tights is one of the myths that works.

Whitney’s clothing range takes to the catwalk.

The former reality television star believes the look, which is considered by many as a fashion faux pas, can work if the rest of the outfit is tame and ‘covered-up.’

It may well look good but a short skirt without tights is just not practical in Ireland. Whitney clearly hasn’t lived in a country that’s cold 51 weeks of the year.

Whitney is one of the judges on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model.

She also addressed the issue of colour stating that ‘black and navy can work.’ She also said ‘black and brown look good together,’ with the right shades of course.

Now that’s the sort of thing that will save us minutes choosing what to wear in the morning!
