She’s been desperately trying to conceal her baby bump and continue wearing an eclectic collection of maternity chic that has no doubt been selected and approved by baby daddy Kanye, but it seems that Kim Kardashian is fully aware that her fashion choices have been a bit baffling of late.
Taking to her website, the reality TV queen has decided to share her sartorial woes with fans in a series of ‘Mommy Blog’ posts.
In her latest post, the star addresses the challenges she is facing in dressing her changing body every morning and says she never knows what to expect when she wakes up.
“For me, I’ve found that I’ve gained inches and I’ve gotten wider but my belly hasn’t popped yet, so I struggle finding things that don’t make me look heavy,” the mum-to-be explained of her recent style choices.
Fashion critics have slammed some of her most recent looks, which have included too-tight peplum style trousers, a baggy and billowing monochrome dress and lots of skin-tight dresses.
“Some days my baby bump really shows, and some days it doesn’t…so I never really know what I’m going to look like,” she revealed.
“At this stage, I guess I’m more focused on concealing the weight gain than I am about dressing the bump, just because it hasn’t popped yet,” she added. “Once I start showing more, I’ll be all about showing off my bump, and I can’t wait!”
But it’s not all doom and gloom as the brunette beauty insists that she’s enjoying the challenge of dressing her new figure.
“I’m definitely having a lot of fun with my maternity fashion,” Kardashian concluded. “[I] love trying new things.”
We’re all for experimenting, but it looks like Kim is kind of in denial that she’s expecting and is instead squishing her baby bump into her favourite tight leather ensembles instead… Just embrace your bump!
