Ankle boots are probably my favourite type of footwear: they go with everything from jeans to skirts, they’re comfortable enough to walk in and they’re perfect for a dressy day look.

This season, ankle boot game has stepped up a few gears and there are some seriously gorgeous options on the high-street.

I mean there is literally every fabric, colour, shape and size to choose from with velvet, embellishment, glitter, sequins and embroidery optional too.
