Another day, another confusing fashion trend.
We’ve had Vetements‘ bum-baring jeans, Topshop‘s clear plastic pants, Nordstrom‘s muddy jeans and honestly, we can’t deal with any more out-there trousers.
Balenciaga is now selling stirrup jeans and we’re not on board with them.

From the ankle up, grand. Lovely. Straight-leg fit, nice faded wash – very wearable.
But ankle-down, nope. Just nope.
Like, if you were to wear the straps on the outside of your shoes, they’d get dirty. Wear them on the inside, they’d get smelly.
Plus you couldn’t slip into these jeans with ease – your feet would get tangled.
For the €525 price tag, you’d surely be wanting something a little less stressful.
We’re all for a fun trend, but officially have jean fatigue – so please, designers and retailers, no more weird jeans.
