For some women, only the comfiest, most fleecy pair of jammies will do and for others, a sexy little number is just the ticket but if you thought you were unique in your bedtime outfit choices think again because it turns out, what you wear to bed depends on where you lay your head!
A survey conducted by Debenhams Ireland, has revealed that Irish women have very different sleepwear tastes but that location is a big factor in deciding what they wear.
Waterford and Wexford women preferred to cover up completely, saying they would climb into bed wearing long sleeve tops and matching bottoms.
Galway girls admitted to being a bit racier, by wearing short, strappy and oh so skimpy babydolls, where as cailíní in the capital prefer to sleep in the nip with 66 percent saying they prefer to strip off completely. We’re guessing they also have astronomically high heating bills.

And, ladies in the midlands were a lot more modest with 90 percent saying they would wear shorts and vests to sleep in.
But, perhaps the most controversial choice is what girls in GAA strongholds such as Kilkenny, Donegal and Tipperary wear. We’re all for showing allegiance to your team, but do you really need to wear your county colours in bed?
