Yesterday marked the return of famed milliner Philip Treacy to LFW after a ten year hiatus. And who better to open the show than celebrity fan Lady Gaga. From the sublime to the ridiculous, we’ve broken down our top five looks.

Gaga is known for her eclectic ensembles especially when it comes to hats and hair so who better to open Philip Treacy’s LFW show than the lady herself.

And what a show it was. Combining circus tents, Egyptian inspired snakes and a phantom gloved hand, Treacy lived up to his eccentric reputation and provided an array of headgear that was awe inspiring, innovative and in some instances  just plain bats!

Several designs paid homage to his late friend, muse and champion of his work Isabella Blow and in a controversial move, Treacy cast only black models including current catwalk queen Jourdan Dunn.
