If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll know the true value of the Golden Snitch.
This snitch engagement ring designed by Miranda Scott of House On Hudson Jewellery, is made from sterling silver with its centre piece created from topaz.
Scott crafted the wedding band on the ring to look like the wings of the snitch. The golden-winged ball plays a key part in JK Rowling’s fictitious sport, Quidditch.
Accompanying the description of the ring is a poem by its creators, it reads:
At this ring, have a look
It was inspired by a book
If you’re a wizard or witch
You could use it to get hitched
In gold or silver it may be bought
but official merchandise, it is not
They are made in sizes five to eight
Other sizes will have to wait
Allow 3-4 weeks for me to make it for you,
and J.K Rowling, if you’re reading this – please don’t sue
