Is there anything the creator slash director slash producer slash lead actress of hit HBO show Girls can’t do?
As dedicated Girls fans, we worship at the alter of Lena and love how her cringe-worthy hit show makes us snort with laughter, feel better about our own failed romances and believe it’ll all work out in the end.
So you can imagine our delight in hearing that the funny girl de jour is believed to be working on a TV adaptation of All Dressed Up And Everywhere To Go, an upcoming memoir written by Bergdorf Goodman personal shopper extraordinaire Betty Halbreich.

Bergdorf’s personal shopper extraordinaire Betty Halbreich
Betty, who is 85-years-old, is a Bergdorf institution and launched the personal shopping service at the iconic department store in 1976. In her time there, she’s dressed everyone from Meryl Streep to Joan Rivers to Sarah Jessica Parker and her soon to be released memoir chronicles her time as a stylist to the stars.
While the clothing choices worn by the characters on Girls are sometimes questionable to say the least – Hannah’s braless vests for one – and the girls often look more dishevelled than dressed to kill, we have high style hopes for the upcoming show and feel it’ll knock Mad Men style obsessive’s into submission once and for all!

Lena’s a lot more style savvy in real life
And seeing as Betty is still working in the store every day, we’re sure she’ll have something to say about the show’s styling.
HBO are yet to release any information or comment and it’s unclear if the pilot will air this year but we have a feeling it’ll be well worth the wait.
