We’ve seen our fair share of strange and ugly swimwear, with new versions being made every year. We’ve had the swimsuit that looks like a hairy chest, or the swimsuit that said it wasn’t fit for use in water.
Whatever happened to just normal swimwear?
And now, a new variety has been spotted online which has the worst feature ever brought into the lingerie world – see through straps.
Remember them?
They were hugely popular in the 90s and 00s with every second bra having the added feature of allowing you to wear a bra with a backless dress or boob tube top without having to wear a strapless bra. Except… it didn’t really work that way with the see-through strap being more obvious than planned.
They also started to turn a yellow colour after a few wears. In short, they were gross. And yet Missguided has just used this type of strap in its new range of bikinis.
The bikini has see-through straps on the top, both front and back, and also at the side of the bottoms.
