Lady Gaga’s meat dress seemed like a bit of an odd, and we’re guessing smelly, outfit choice at the time but it has earned her a place in music history.
According to reports the dress, which the eccentrically-dressed singer wore to the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2010, has been chosen to appear in a display in the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington.

When Gaga took to the red carpet two years ago, everybody assumed she was simply making a fashion statement. However she explained that she was actually making a political statement.
She said that when people don’t stand up for their rights, they have as many rights as a piece of meat hence the meat made of raw meat.
As strongly as we agree with Gaga, we’re not sure we’d be willing to don a dress like that!
