She’s slowly but surely been shedding her old, slightly WAG-tastic image and these days we’re more used to seeing the mama-to-be in monochrome ensembles that her baby daddy has picked out for her but it seems Kim still can’t catch a break with some high-end designers.
When Nicola Formichetti (he of Lady Gaga fame) was tasked with transforming the reality queen for her latest shoot with Elle US, the stylist extraordinaire couldn’t wait to get Kim’s shapely curves into the latest hot-off-the-runway looks but it seems that many designers didn’t share his enthusiasm.
Speaking to Elle he said that dressing Kim posed “a challenge” and that “people wouldn’t lend me the clothes. But that’s fashion snobbery.”

Formichetti wouldn’t reveal which designers refused to lend samples but Tom Ford, Oscar de la Renta and Roberto Cavalli are featured in the shoot so it’s safe to say some big hitters are konfirmed Kardashian fans.
