We’ll admit, some of her previous style choices verged on tacky and she was never a style icon to begin with.
Leaning heavily on tight dresses, sky high Louboutins, shiny fabrics and a smattering of leopard print, Kim Kardashian had a well worn fashion formula that more often than not failed in the style stakes but always managed to flatter those curves.
But since the birth of Kimye (Kim and Kanye West for those of you who’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of months) Kim’s style choices have been questionable to say the least. Like some kind of puppeteer maestro, Kanye has managed to overhaul Kim’s wardrobe and is parading her around in a selection of hideous outfits like a prized pooch!
We’re all guilty of dressing to make our man happy sometimes but disposing of your whole wardrobe and giving your boyfriend ‘creative control’ over how you look has a weird 50s housewife/kept woman vibe that is just plain creepy.
Especially when said boyfriend has a failed fashion line, looks a bit of a state himself and ultimately doensn’t have a clue.
So, get those waist cinching shift dresses out of storage Kim and kick off those sheepdog inspired shoes you’ve been sporting around town because your wannabe style guru is doing you no favours and we promise you, you’ll regret it in the end.
