In Pictures: Tommy Hilfiger at New York Fashion Week

Some all-American style from the legendary designer.

Rebecca McKnight

We haven’t even gotten around to embracing spring/summer 2014 yet, but the fashpack are currently showcasing the wares we’ll all be sporting next winter at New York Fashion Week.

The Christmas of the fashion world is happening right now in the snowy big apple, and the highlights so far have included a gorgeous collection from The Row and a Victoria Beckham show that proved just how far the former Spice Girl has come in the fashion world.

As far as the big names go, though, we’ll always have a soft spot for Tommy Hilfiger. The quintessential all-American designer has been a mainstay in our wardrobes for preppy/collegiate chic ever since we picked up polo shirts baring his logo in bulk during our J1 summers.

Today, Tommy Hilfiger AW14 took to the runway with an ‘American Explorer’ theme. The collection, inspired by the great American outdoors showcased traditional tartan on brushed wool-cashmere, mohair, and silk, a range of shirt-dress silhouettes and leather totes and satchels.

Have a flick through the gallery above to see the collection in full.
