Forget Fashion Week, this season Alber Elbaz, the creative genius behind French label Lanvin, has a much more momentous ocassion to design for – Minnie Mouse’s dress for the 20th anniversary celebrations at Disneyland Paris!
WWD is reporting that the world’s favourite female rodent will don a custom made Lanvin gown by the Paris based designer for the celebrations.
This isn’t the first time the unlikely fashionista has looked to Lanvin for style advice and inspiration.
Back in December the pair collaborated on a one-of-a-kind video for the holiday window at iconic New York department store Barney’s.

Speaking to WWD about the collaboration, Elbaz said “When I showed her two dresses, she knew exactly which one she wanted,” he told the trade magazine.
“She likes to show her heels and loves earrings, jewellery, colours and everything that sparkles.”
She looks like a hard lady to please and we can’t wait to see the finished result!
