First Look: Rihanna for River Island, The Winter Collection

High street favourite River Island has released details of the final Rihanna for River Island collection.

Due to hit stores and online from November 7^th, the winter collection from the S&M singer just might be the most accessible to date, featuring party pieces that many women will be sure to find appealing.

Whereas Rihanna’s previous lines were rooted in the casual yet revealing pieces the popstar herself is usually seen in, this collection showcases pieces that are very much on the fashion pulse, albeit with Riri’s unique twist.

The 40-piece winter collection includes varsity jackets, matching tartan separates, embellished party dresses, longer lined tuxedo jackets and denim jumpsuits.

Of the moment tartans are key, and sit alongside denim, black and metallic to give a rock and roll edge to the range, but there’s a girlie nod too with florals, soft velvets and faux furs.

With only 100 pieces of each item made and in line with all previous collections, they’re expected to fly off the shelves quickly, so you’ll need to be ahead of the game. The complete collection will be available for pre order at www.riverisland.com from the 31^st of Oct.
