We’re not massive fans of Ri-Ri’s gangta style and sometime wish she’d step away from the crop-tops and tacky gold jewellery but we have to say we’re intrigued to see how her River Island capsule collection turns out.
There’s been so much hype surrounding the singers design debut that we were expecting to see lots of stud detailling, 90s references and blingtastic prints so we have to admit that we’re totally underwhelmed by the first sneak peak.
Grazia Daily are reporthing that a navy blue brushed silk boiller suit worn by the singer on Sunday has been confirmed by River Island as a piece of the collection and it’s left us feeling a little cold. Featuring silver buttons, a draw-string hood and drop-waist, the jumpsuit does very little for Rihanna’s killer bod so we can only imagine how hideous it will look on us mere mortals.

The campaign featuring Ri-Ri and a host of models featuring Jourdan Dunn has been shot by top fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti (he of Kate Moss and Pirelli calander fame) so we’re sure the images will do the clothes a lot more justice than they deserve but if the blue boiler suit is anything to go by, we’re not looking forward to singers other offerings.
