Renowned fashion photographer Juergen Teller declined to shoot Miley Cyrus in the latest Marc Jacobs fashion campaign.
‘I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist,’ Marc Jacobs told Women’s Wear Daily. ‘He just didn’t want to shoot her.’
The campaign was instead shot by David Sims.
Teller has previously worked with Winona Ryder, Sofia Coppola, Charlotte Rampling, Michael Stipe and Rufus Wainwright for Marc Jacobs campaigns but declined to decline this opportunity.
The spring campaign was released by Nylon magazine on Wednesday with the singer sporting a different look.

Her blonde hair is darkened for the shoot and Cyrus dons an unusually sombre expression for the shoot which takes place on a beach.
‘We wanted this beach with the girls kind of sulky and broody, and we thought it would be cool if it was Miley with what could be two friends, feeling distant and quite dark,’ Jacobs said.
