The high street has really upped its ante this season and has produced a vast selection of covetable leather and leather look pieces.
Purists may shun synthetic styles and you can’t really beat the real thing but we’ve been won over by how much PU and pleather have improved and it’s availability on the high street has allowed those of us with tighter budgets to dip into the trend.
The easiest way to wear leather this season is the leather skirt. Look for traditionally feminine silhouettes and sophisticated tailored pieces which will give existing items in your wardrobe a tougher edge and you’ll revamp your whole look in the process – a failsafe sartorial investment which will last the whole season long.
