Our pals over at Oasis, one of our absolute favourite high street stores, have partnered with Ireland AM this week to launch a search for a new fashion designer.
The DESIGN YOUR FUTURE competition will give would-be designers an exciting new opportunity to win a year as a fashion designer at Oasis’ Head Office in London.
The lucky winner will experience once in a lifetime, in-house training at Oasis’ Head Office in fashionable Shoreditch, East London, shadowing the talented Oasis Design Director.
A first for Oasis, this fantastic, year long prize provides a unique opportunity to join an exciting and creative Design team and fully experience every aspect of the design process – from sketch to sign off.

Furthermore, the lucky winner will also have an incredible opportunity to design their very own capsule collection for Oasis, retailing in Oasis stores across Ireland! (Consider Team Her.ie first in the queue; we already own half of what is currently in store.)
The expert judges, who will determine who walks away with this incredible prize, have a wealth of fashion and design experience between them. Ian Galvin, Chairman of Oasis Fashions Ireland will be joined by Bairbre Power, Fashion Editor of The Irish Independent and Editor of the Irish Independent Weekend Magazine, and top stylist and author Lisa Fitzpatrick, who is a regular face on Ireland AM.
Oasis, Design Director, Clive Reeves will fly over for the live final in studio and ultimately choose the winner who will be joining his design team in London. Finally, up and coming Irish Fashion Designer, Emma Manley, will be a key mentor throughout the 6 week competition teaming up with our judges to find the next big thing in Irish fashion design!
DESIGN YOUR FUTURE is the perfect launch pad for establishing a long-term career in fashion design. To enter, Oasis will be challenging ten budding designers in weekly design-based tasks hosted on Ireland AM over a four week period.
