Back to the Beginning
Rachel grew up in Milburn, New Jersey in 1971. After graduating from Milburn High School she went on to study Psychology and Sociology at George Washington University in Washington DC. It was there she met future husband, Roger Berman. However, fashion was Rachel’s true love so they moved to New York City where she started to make her dream a reality. She became editor of YM magazine before switching to celebrity styling, gaining Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears as clients.
Keeping It Real
Before employing Rachel Zoe as her stylist, Nicole Richie’s fashion sense left a lot to be desired. Anyone remember The Simple Life,starring Richie and her sidekick Paris Hilton? Dressed in neon shades sporting ratty hair extensions, this girl was in serious need of some style advice. Enter Zoe… and before long her protégée Richie became a darling of the fashion set. Tousled hair, layered accessories, vintage dresses and huge handbags made causal chic favourable and Zoe’s star was born.

Currently Rachel has 1,653,263 million Twitter followers and 664,158 Instagram followers. In addition to her fashion line she has written a book about how to achieve her look, Style A to Zoe: the Art of Fashion, Beauty & Everything Glamour. She also has her own TV show The Rachel Zoe Project screened on TV channel Bravo. Her fashion line is inspired by her signature vintage-inspired look and is available in over 275 department stores including Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

For Rachel, family comes first. Speaking to In Style about upcoming Fashion Week Rachel said “I try to spend as much time with my son because I know next week is going to be crazy.” She’s happiest at home chilling out with her husband Roger and son Skyler, “I literally collapse and turn on Friends or one of the Twilight films… but mostly it’s really just snuggling with my son and if I can do that and we can order in take-out, then I’m good. “
