Ah, lads.
Sometimes, picking office-appropriate attire is quite difficult.
You don’t want to be too professional at the risk of alienating people but you also don’t want to be too casual at the risk of looking like you just wandered in off the street.
If nobody else wears slacks, can you wear slacks?
If someone comes in a jersey one day because the GAA is on, does that mean that jerseys are office-appropriate all the time?
If your boss has the same shirt as you should you burn that piece of clothing immediately?
Who can say for sure?

One thing that is for sure though is that you probably shouldn’t rock up to work wearing a bumbag unless your job involves needing to carry a lot of loose change and/or selling drugs.
And in that case you probably wouldn’t be wearing a full suit while you’re working.
Maybe.
ASOS don’t seem to have received this memo though because they’ve styled one of their model in that exact outfit.
And it looks absolutely bizarre.

Where is she going with that bumbag, like?
What’s inside of it? Why is it on her shoulder in one of the photos? How come it’s necessary for her to do lunges and bring it to the office?

So many questions that will probably never be answered.
Understandably, the bumbag/office chic look found its way to Twitter and people were less than impressed with its existence.
WHY IS SHE WEARING A BUMBAG LIKE THIS? Stop trolling us ASOS. pic.twitter.com/vFGKpn6YTe

Photographer: Now, put the bumbag over your shoulder
@ASOS model: But that's not how it's supposed to be-
Photographer: And lunge.
Model: Pardon?
Photographer: Just do a lunge with the bumbag over your shoulder, go on.
Model: Oh, won't that look a bit…
Photographer: LUNGE!!! pic.twitter.com/1UPriDLFpS— jenny (@jencalculator) February 12, 2018
