Although he scrubs up well on the red carpet, we didn’t have Matthew McConaughey down as a budding fashionista.
When he’s not filming the latest rom-com or movie about middle-aged strippers, the Texan native can usually be spotted surfing, running on the beach or partaking in some other half naked sporting activity.
But it seems the dad-of-two has also been spending his down-time devising a sportswear line called JKL.
Speaking to WWD about his inspiration behind the line Matthew said, “One of the first things I had written down was ‘from the jungle to the opera. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but that’s the idea.”

From the jungle to the opera…
Which basically translates as clothes you can wear anywhere – or for the man who doesn’t care what he wears?
The line is being released in conjunction with Just Keep Livin, the charity the 43 year-old founded in 2008 following the death of his father to encourage children to keep healthy through an active lifestyle.
Hmm, we know it’s for a good cause but you’re not really selling it well McConaughey. Thankfully images of what it acutally looks like are a lot more convincing!
