We love finding out celebrity’s salaries… It’s just part of our nosey, em, journalistic nature.
And the latest on our radar is the money One Direction have made in the two years since they joined forces and created their band on The X-Factor.
Sit down now ladies. The five boys have made a total gross figure of €124.4 million in the last two years.
We’ll never forget how Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik all entered the competition as solo singers and were formed into a group by the judging panel.
We’re getting nostalgic now… We might hit up Youtube later and watch the guys’ first auditions once again.
Despite coming third in the show, they have gone on to make the huge amount of money for themselves and an estimated €248.8 million for their management.

One Direction sing and dance with their fans at the recent MTV VMAs…
In a new chapter in Tom Bower’s biography od Simon Cowell, Sweet Revenge, the author writes;“One Direction were Cowell’s new Westlife – a revival of his mastery of the music business. Nothing had been left to chance by Sony Music, with the band’s hit album ‘Up All Night’ selling over five million copies.
“The songs, publishing, discs, DVDs, merchandising and endorsements brought in huge profits, with the five members of the group together estimated to have earned nearly £100m. Naturally, Sony and Syco raked in much more.”
Recently the band signed the bottom line on a deal with Pepsi which is thought to be worth millions but they also have endorsed dolls, books and calendars to keep their bank balances topping up regularly.
The boyband are set to embark on a huge world tour next year which will see their earnings increase even more.
Stay tuned, we’ll have those figures for you too…
