It was only a matter of weeks ago that Lindsay Lohan found herself in the bad books of the authorities over a theft. Luckily for her, nothing came of that but something might just come out of the fact that she has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
The troubled actress apparently clipped a pedestrian with her car as she pulled into a hotel in downtown New York in the early hours of this morning.
Lindsay Lohan has been in court on theft charges before.
According to TMZ, Lindsay wasn’t driving fast but her car did make contact with the knee of a 30 year old man.
One of the passengers in the Porsche Cayenne is said to have gotten out to check the car for damage before the entire party including Lindsay made their way into the hotel.
While she was inside, somebody called the police and the Mean Girls star was later arrested. The incident could be considered as a violation of the terms of her probation stemming from her jewellery theft case last year.
This latest incident could see Lindsay make another court appearance.
The victim has been hospitalised, but isn’t thought to have any serious injuries, while Lindsay could end up in court for the misdemeanour.
