A low temperature warning has been issued for Ireland for tonight, and is belived to last until Morning morning.
According to Met Éireann, the temperatures “are expected to fall to as low as minus 4 degrees tonight, Saturday and down to as low as minus 6 degrees on Sunday night”.
Motorists have been warned that frost and ice will develop widely and “another hazard will be fog which will become dense in many places by dawn.”
Although most areas escaped yesterday’s snow,both Connacht and the midlands are expected to suffer from severe icy conditions over the next two days.
The yellow weather warning has been put into effect from 9pm this evening until 10am on Monday morning.
