Woody Allen’s Adopted Daughter Accuses Him Of Sexual Abuse In Open Letter

Dylan Farrow, adopted daughter of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, has publicly accused the Oscar-winning director of sexually assaulting her as a child.

Farrow penned a first person account posted to reporter Nicholas Kritoff’s blog, where she recounted the alleged abuse in detail.

In the open letter, Dylan makes reference to several Hollywood celebrities, accusing them of turning a blind eye.

She asks Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin who star in Allen’s film Blue Jasmine, “What if it had been your child?”

Blue Jasmine is nominated for three Academy Awards this year, including best original screenplay.

Allen and Mia Farrow split up in 1992 and the abuse allegations surfaced soon after this.

The director married Soon-Yi Previn, also an adopted daughter of Farrow, in 1997.

Diana Keaton recently accepted a Golden Globes lifetime achievement award on behalf of Woody Allen and Farrow refers to the Annie Hall actress in the letter.

“You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton. Have you forgotten me?”
