Met Éireann is sounding like a broken record.
It seems like we can’t go more than a few days this summer without some biblical weather threatening.
Met Éireann has issued yet another set of weather warnings for a number of Irish counties.
A status yellow rainfall warning was put in place for Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo yesterday afternoon and will remain in effect until today at 3pm.
These counties can expect heavy rain, with possible levels of 35mm on high ground.
Donegal, still recovering from devastating flooding earlier in the week, was issued a separate status yellow weather warning for much of today.
Up to 40mm of rain is expected in the county, with the warning to stay in place until 6pm this evening.
