Dublin Airport is one of the nicest places to be at this time of year, with many passengers arriving home for a joyous reunion with loved ones.
While the sight of their nearest and dearest waiting in the Arrivals hall is enough to put a smile on the face of the weariest traveller, one Limerick family decided to go one better.
Carmel lives in Australia and returned home this week to spend the festive season with the O’Connor crew for the first time in four years, only to be greeted by ceol agus craic from band Draíocht at the terminal.
And better yet… she had a very special surprise of her own for her family!
