Irish weather isn’t so bad, if you compare it to Sicily where it’s been raining rocks.
Mount Etna erupted in southern Italy over the weekend, causing large amounts of volcanic ash and rocks to fall from the sky.
Etna is known for its frequent eruptions and is one of Europe’s tallest active volcanoes. It sits close to Messina and Catania.
Thankfully the eruption itself didn’t force any evacuations but motorways were closed as a precaution for travellers. Locals had to sweep the ash from their cars, and walk around with umbrellas for safety.
