Two young boys have been left seriously injured after the bouncy castle they were playing on was swept up into the air and they fell out.
The youngsters were on the inflatable attraction at an apartment block in South Glens Falls on Monday afternoon when the wind picked it up and carried it into the air.
Fifteen feet from the ground, they fell out, one onto a parked car and the other onto the nearby street. Officials say the five-year-old sustained two broken arms and facial injuries while the six-year-old is being treated for a serious head trauma.
Taylor Seymour, who witnessed the incident, told Post-Star: “It was like a horror movie. It just kept going up and up. It cleared our building and the trees”.
Both boys, who have not been identified, were reportedly conscious and alert at the hospital on Tuesday.
