Two people are dead after a plane assigned to the crew of Tom Cruise’s new film, Mena, crashed.
The small aircraft, designed to carry cast and crew between filming locations, came down in the Colombian Andes on Friday after encountering bad weather conditions.

The two people have been named as American film pilot Alan Purwin and Colombian national Carol Berl.
Another man who was on board at the time, pilot Jimmy Lee Garland, is currently in intensive care in a Medellin hospital.
Cruise’s representative confirmed shortly after the incident that the actor was not on board.
