According to reports this evening, a toddler is in a critical condition after falling from a hotel balcony in Limerick.
The young boy, aged 3, is believed to have fallen from the sixth floor at around shortly before 2pm this afternoon.
He was immediately rushed to Limerick University Hospital with his condition described as “serious”.
According to The Limerick Leader, a customer of Niall Colgan’s hair salon which is right beside the hotel, went to the child’s aid.
Taking to Facebook, Niall wrote:
“She is a well-known and respected doctor who may have been instrumental in those few minutes”.
Gardaí and emergency services arrived shortly after and the scene has been preserved.
