The little boy who was taken to hospital following an incident at a swimming pool in Cork has died.
The three-year-old, from Tipperary, was on holidays when the incident happened at the Quality Hotel in Redbarn, Youghal.
He was taken from the water by two lifeguards. They gave him CPR before emergency services airlifted him to Cork University Hospital.
According to RTÉ News he was then transferred to Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street in Dublin, where he passed away today.
