Donald Trump earned his spot in history last night when he won the US Presidential election to become the President-elect, before it’s made official at his inauguration in January.
In a conciliatory speech following his win, Trump said: “We will get along with all other nations willing to get along with us. We will deal fairly with everyone. We will seek common ground, partnership not conflict.
“America will no longer settle for anything less than the best. We must reclaim our destiny.”
Trump is well known for his use of social media and he has produced many tweets down through the years which have caused controversy.
He has now tweeted for the first time since winning the election.
Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before
