What a phenomenal achievement!
The pub in Lisdoonvarna, named The Wild Honey Inn (what a charming name too!) has been awarded the first ever Michelin star given to a pub in Ireland!

The Wild Honey Inn earned the prestigious award for their “robust and confident cooking.” The superb pub (surely it must be) is owned and run by Mayo native and prominent chef, Aidan McGrath and his partner Kate Sweeney. Aidan describes his cooking as “modern bistro style”.
So, does this mean we all need to head off to Clare and see what all this fuss is about? Probably. Just look at some of their delectable bites.
