Halloween… Ah, a time for dressing up, bobbing for apples (do people still do that?) and general all round eating your body weight in sweets.

However, there is a darker, more sinister side to the holiday and no, we don’t mean ghosts, demons and ghouls.
From bonfires to bangers there’s a lot of ways a day of fun can go drastically wrong and the reality of the weekend was put sharply into perspective by these tweets today from the Dublin Fire Brigade.
