A teenager has been arrested after allegedly shooting a teacher dead with a crossbow.
According to reports, several people were injured in the attack which took place at the Joan Fuster school in Barcelona this morning.
It is believed that the boy, a student at the school, was armed with a crossbow and arrow.
Witnesses say that the boy knocked on the door of a classroom and fired at the female teacher who opened it, before shooting a second arrow at a girl inside the room.

Spanish media report that a male teacher ran into the room and was shot in the abdomen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect is said to have gone into another classroom and attacked a girl before making his way back to the hallway with a knife.
The school was quickly evacuated and the suspect, believed to be under the age of 14, is being held by police at the campus.
