This is just horrific.

Funda Cicek, a 15-year-old from Istanbul, is believed to have been abducted by Islamic terrorists.

The teenager is thought to to have left her home on September 16th in the Tuzla district of the city.

According to The Mirror, Funda did not say goodbye to anyone but sent a message to her uncle, Alaaddin Cicek, with the following words:

“I am going to die.

“Don’t try to find me, don’t ask me. I am ready to die”.

Funda’s mother said her daughter had recently started wearing clothing similar to garments worn by followers of ISIS and she now feared that her daughter may have been abducted.

She explained:

“First she (Funda) bought a black feraje (overcoat) then a huge black scarf, then she started wearing black gloves too.

“We had an argument a couple of days before she left and I threw away all her ferajes.”

The teenager’s parents said they believed their daughter had met ISIS supporters while on holiday and after returning home, she kept up contact with them online.

Although Funda’s behaviour had been out of character in recent weeks, her parents said they had no idea she was planning something so monumental.

The investigation is ongoing.
